  We were greeted with a lovely location and relatively nice decor. We ordered, and everything was going well however such was to our dismal. We waited 30 min for our order of 3 burgers and chips. This would of been understandable and not an issue however there were only 3 other customers and the staff were extremely slow paced. We had never seen such low effort and slow paced workers. This could easily be fixed with staff and efficiency training. Finally, we received our order however our chips were forgotten and I had to remind them. Surely, if an order is to take 30 min to be prepared we expected that everything were to be included. An additional comment I would like to add is that tomato sauce was an extra $1, for a tiny tub. We were extremely unimpressed of this money making mechanism. Now, onto the food part. Despite the preexisting slow paced effort of the staff and hefty sauce price, I was willing to push that aside if the food was relatively nice. However that was not the case. I would like to word this nicely, however it was essentially the worst take away burger and chips we have had in our 30 years of living. The patty was dry and resembled a sausage, whilst the chips were soggy and unseasoned. This list can continue. Whilst this may be a harsh review, the believe that taking my constructive criticism and retraining staff and altering your menu and cooking methods, could improve your venue to a vast extent.

  Sooooo slow. 30-40 mins for chips and a grilled fish. Not even busy / many people. Fish over cooked, chips average.

  Don’t be disheartened by a wait time that is just a tad longer than average. This place is the bees knees, hands down some of the best batter I have tasted and I make fish and chips disappear like a disgraced politician. The fisherman’s basket had a good range of fish goods and the banana split is rejuvenating. 5/5 will devour again

  Disappointing food. Will try to say something encouraging in the hope the shop can recover. Works burger flaws - bun is a tip top burger bun that goes super soggy - patty tastes like cheap sausage - no onions - no bacon - egg yolk not runny - beetroot cheap and not zingy.
  Food so bad that I wish that it was never ordered. Should have read the reviews first. I'm so sorry but no nothing positive to say. Chips bad also. A coastal town like South West Rocks deserves much better. Go shop owner. Fire up. Kick your staff into action. Dream to make a magical burger. Love.

  Always beautiful food and friendly service. Pearl perch was so good and very conscious about gluten and cooking things separately. Have read other reviews about people having to wait, why not just phone ahead? We've had to wait also which is expected at busy holiday times.

  Good food, and reasonable prices but really slow!! Have manufactured potato scallops- no flavour not worth the $1 each.
